Target Zero Doctrine
Target Zero is our unyielding operational mandate: Zero lost-time incidents (LTI), zero unauthorized emissions, and zero environmental infractions. This philosophy is hardcoded into our engineering protocols, contractor vetting processes, and daily SCADA monitoring operations.
Carbon Capture (CCUS)
Viceroy is pioneering proprietary Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) technologies at our Missouri City Advanced Refining Unit, actively sequestering emissions before they enter the atmosphere.
Habitat Restoration
We operate alongside nature, not against it. Viceroy has permanently designated over 12,400 acres surrounding our Permian Basin drilling sites as protected wildlife corridors, ensuring zero disruption to local migratory patterns and repopulating native Texas flora.

Water Stewardship
Water is a critical resource in Texas. Viceroy utilizes closed-loop desalination and produced-water recycling systems across all Permian well-stimulation activities. We treat and reuse 88% of our fracking fluid, drastically reducing our draw on local municipal aquifers and minimizing wastewater injection.
Governance & Training
Viceroy's Board maintains strict oversight over SEC compliance, anti-corruption policies, and workforce equity. We mandate annual ethics training for all employees and operate a state-of-the-art virtual reality (VR) safety simulator in College Station to prepare engineers for extreme operational scenarios in a zero-risk environment.
Comprehensive Emissions Tracking
Viceroy adheres strictly to the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol for Corporate Accounting. Our real-time emissions dashboard tracks every metric ton of CO2 equivalent, ensuring transparent ESG reporting to all stakeholders.

Massive drop due to transitioning 40% of our Permian Basin pumping jack grid power to localized solar array microgrids.

The future of energy requires diverse perspectives. Viceroy has overhauled its recruitment algorithms to eliminate implicit bias, partnering heavily with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) across Texas and Louisiana to build an elite, inclusive engineering pipeline.
Supply Chain Human Rights
Viceroy maintains a zero-tolerance policy for human rights violations, forced labor, or conflict minerals within our supply chain. Every vendor, from steel pipe manufacturers to offshore catering services, must pass an annual rigorous third-party ethical audit.
